We thank you for our youthful energy and talents;
may we use our gifts to develop our skills and help the needy of today’s Gospel.
May we welcome the guidance of parents and teachers;
may we show we appreciate their efforts; may we respond to their encouragement.
May your words and deeds inspire us in difficult times and when we make decisions
that will influence the rest of our lives.
May the gifts we received in Confirmation, strengthen us to stand out from the crowd;
even when our own Catholic classmates discourage us may we gladly practise our faith.
