There was an earthquake; the angel of the Lord rolled away the stone.

Peter and John saw the linen clothes; till this moment they had failed to understand that he would rise.

                          Jesus said to the women, 'Greetings. Do not be afraid.'

                                                      'Go and tell the brothers..

                    Mary Magdalen thought he was the gardener.  'Where have you put him?'

                                                                 'Mary!'   'Master!'.

    The disciples left Emmaus and returned from to Jerusalem, where they met the Apostles.  

                                               'Yes. It is true; the Lord has risen.'

      On this joyful Easter morning, we rejoice that we can greet the risen Lord in the Eucharist.

                                                      'Jesus appeared to Peter,

           then to the twelve, then to 500, then to James and, ast of all, he appeared to me.'
